18 years ago, I left my 6-figure corporate job with a determination to get my nervous system in balance and create a lifestyle that allowed me to have more time with my family while pursuing entrepreneurship.
Externally, I was a successful businesswoman who appeared to have it all together, earning top performance awards and delivering great results. I had a loving family and healthy friendships, kept a daily workout routine and yet I was an emotional hot mess on the inside. Clearly, I was out of balance but didn’t know what to do to help myself get back in balance. So, I made the decision to leave my job and build a calmer, more balanced lifestyle.
I spent almost two decades reading books, listening to inspirational audios, attending workshops and conventions, completing spiritual life coaching, intensive heart-centered meditation and healing certifications with mystical master teachers, and taking courageous leaps into do-it-myself calming practices. I did my heart work and I still do. It is a lifelong process to build a Calm Heart lifestyle.

Your Instructor
Greetings and heartful blessings to you! My deepest intention is to inspire relaxation and calm in others and to support the unfolding of their trust in themselves and in life, regardless of what their physical eyes see, and their mind thinks. Heart knows, and our bodies reflect this knowing. Each heart contains all that is needed to live as one’s authentic self. As we do our heart work, we uncover and share our unique gifts and contribute authentically to the world.
I’ve spent the majority of my adult life working in the healthcare, self-care and wellness industries and public education system as an educator, coach and health practitioner. I’m a certified spiritual life coach, trained in heart rhythm meditation and Hurqalya Method heart energy work. I have practiced heart rhythm meditation for 14 years and have been teaching for 9 years. I love the practicality and simplicity of HRM. These simple meditation practices have been transformative in my life, helping me to find the meaning and purpose of loss in many areas of life and to embrace the present moment. I also find joy in tutoring middle school and high school students in Spanish. I’m currently exploring another realm of work as a Gene Keys Guide.
